University Retina and Macula Associates, P.C. is engaged in the practice of medicine and manages diseases of the retina, vitreous, and macula. We specialize in the treatment of age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and other disorders of the retina, vitreous, and macula.

Dr. Rama D. Jager is the primary physician at University Retina. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Chicago. He is also affiliated with Advocate Christ Medical Center and Advocate South Suburban Hospital.

University Retina is comprised of three southwest suburban offices located in Oak Forest (Oak Commerce Professional Buildings), Oak Lawn (Advocate Christ Medical Center Physician Pavilion), and Tinley Park (Advocate Southwest Campus).

Our offices are handicapped accessible and equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic tools. Fundus photography, fluorescein angiography, indocyanine angiography, and ultrasoundography are all available on-site. We offer a variety of treatment options on-site as well including intravitreal injections, laser surgery, and photodynamic therapy.
