June 2008 -- Dr. Jager's review article on Age-Related Macular Degeneration is published in the prestigious New England Journal of Medicine. He is the primary and corresponding author on this paper, and co-authored it with Dr. William F. Mieler (former chairman at the University of Chicago) and Dr. Joan W. Miller, Chair, Department of Ophthalmology, Harvard Medical School (Boston, MA).

May 2008 -- University Retina purchases the state-of-the-art Heidelberg Spectralis HRA-OCT 6 mode imaging system in order to perform state of the art three-dimensional OCT images and high-speed video angiography.

April 2008 -- Dr. Jager's is co-author on an article regarding short-term intraocular pressure trends following intravitreal injections of ranibizumab (Lucentis) for the treatment of wet age-related macular degeneration. Click here for the article abstract.
