About University Retina

University Retina is engaged in the practice of medicine specializing in diseases and surgery of the retina, vitreous, and macula.

We specifically specialize in the treatment of age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment repair, retinal vein occlusions, and other disorders of the retina, vitreous, and macula. 

We currently see patients at two main locations: Burbank, Illinois and Oak Forest, Illinois.  Our offices are handicapped accessible and equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic tools. Fundus photography, fluorescein angiography, indocyanine angiography, and ultrasoundography, laser treatment, certain types of retinal detachment repair, and intravitreal injection therapy are all available on-site.

We offer state-of-the-art treatment options as well including intravitreal injections, computer navigated laser surgery, photodynamic therapy, cryotherapy, and other major retinal procedures.
